What is your favorite animal and why?

Hello
I'm starting. My favorite animal is a dolphin, because I think dolphins look very beautiful, and the way they jump around in the water I think that's really great too! And now you ???

Kind regards
Peter

My favorite animals are all water birds, i.e. geese, ducks, swans, etc.
Because they can do everything: run, swim, dive and fly!
Being able to fly has to be great.

Greetings Petra

Mine are dogs and horses.
Dogs, because they are so loyal and their love so pure, they stick to their pack, no matter what.
Horses because they are so incredibly sensitive and so empathic. They always make you feel really good.

But I also love birds like ravens and parrots because they are so intelligent and pretty, little birds because they are so curious and cute, and of course ducks too.

And rodents too, like rabbits and guinea pigs and mice.
Wild animals such as deer or hedgehogs are also really nice to watch.

I love all animals!

Cats. I love your independence. And green finches, hundreds of which we have at the feeding stations on our balcony in winter. I cannot explain why I like the latter so much.

There are always a lot of blue tits and sparrows at my feeding station, but I've never seen a greenfinch. Didn't even know that it was so fundamentally different on such a "short" distance.

In addition to blackbirds, coal tits, blue tits, crested tits and other tits, we also have goldenhamers, starlings, bullfinches, robins, sparrows and green finches, which make up the largest population. We have also had a jay, a blackspeak, a great spotted woodpecker and a sparrowhawk at our feeding stations. We have very cold winters here (down to -21 degrees) and we have six or seven feeding stations on the balcony every year. To watch all of this is wonderful.

Dogs - because they cannot pretend. Your affection is pure and genuine. In addition, they are often like small children . If they do something you can see it in their eyes right away. It is really amazing how you can express your feelings in your actions and looks. Cats come right after because they are so cuddly, affectionate and stubborn.

Otherwise, I like the really disgusting aquatic animals such as crabs, crayfish, snails and shrimp (not for eating, just to look). My wife thinks they are totally gross, but I like to watch them .

I understand well, Habaneros. I once had an aquarium just for snails ...

You can guess three times where my favorite place on the beach in Italy was. Not in the sand, not in the sea. There are such small paths into the sea every few hundred meters. There are always large stones piled up to the left and right of it. And in between there are hundreds of crabs. I loved to sit there .

Apart from the really impressive swans, who during the day always took their nap right on the beach between people. There were six animals that went up to my chest (with their heads). Their huge wingspan is also very impressive

Yes, they are big animals ... Very impressive.

We live very close to nature here, near a lake into which a small stream flows. In this stream are small crayfish, barely the size of a small finger, and numerous other small animals. I love to watch there ....
