ARMY Concerned: Is It Getting Harder To Get BTS Tickets?

Ticket lottery for BTS concerts

Bang Si-Hyuk, the managing director of Big Hit Entertainment, stated this week that he wanted to introduce a new system worldwide, through which the tickets for BTS-Shows are sold: A kind of lottery. At the 5th sample in Seoul and Busan in June they had already used this and also for the last shows of the Love Yourself: Speak YourselfTour with the BTS Were already in Germany in 2019, and it will be used again in the Olympia Stadium in Seoul. It's not about all the tickets, but about the best seats at the concerts, such as those closest to the stage or soundcheck passes. In order to get into the lottery pot, fans have to buy an ARMY membership for about 30 dollars (about 27 euros) plus shipping fees for the goodies that are included. That would then also apply to all international fans.

The reason for the BTS lottery

In a statement, Yoon Seok-jun, the co-boss of Big hitWhy they decided to more or less raffle the best tickets: "We noticed that fans had problems because they had to wait for tickets to be sold or because of illegal ticket sales. To stop unfair practices, we have the lottery system for that BTSFan meeting in June and the upcoming Seou concert introduced in October. We are gradually planning to use it on international tours in the future. "The following applies: If someone wins a ticket but cannot attend the concert, it goes back into the lottery pot. In addition, ticket holders must identify themselves with their ID at the concert. This makes it practically impossible to resell or give away the tickets. Hm, okay, if it really helps that there are no illegal and unfair machinations with the tickets, that might be a good thing. Nevertheless, many do not seem to find it particularly fair that one has to buy membership now only to be able to access the BTS- Lottery to come ...

Hardly any chances of getting BTS tickets for fans?

The solution with the lottery is not so well received by ARMY because they see their chances BTS-Tickets or even common seats with their friends are dwindling more and more. So some write: "So you're telling me that you have to buy a $ 50-60 membership to be entered into a raffle for $ 200-400 tickets that you probably won't get because it's a DRAW. You're kidding me a big hit" or "Are you fucking telling me that I'll never come right in front of the stage because I have to take part in a raffle with a $ 60 membership so that I can't even get tickets and never get that close to my boys ?? Me I'm really sad and on the ground right now. Wtf Big Hit ". Pretty blatant words, but also pretty understandable. However, other ARMYS are very happy about the fair raffle and say something like: "I repeat, Big Hit's lottery system only applies to soundcheck tickets and seats in front of the stage! The other seats remain on regular sale. I think the idea is great, because I'm completely annoyed that the same fansites always get the best tickets get every show. "The fan community really doesn't agree on that.
